Case Summary

27-year-old female presented to emergency with amenorrhoea and severe abdominal pain. Clinical suspicion of acute abdomen prompted urgent evaluation. Ultrasound revealed hemoperitoneum, suggestive of ruptured ectopic pregnancy.

Procedure Performed

Emergency Laparotomy with Right Salpingectomy

Intraoperative Findings

Significant hemoperitoneum noted. A ruptured right tubal ectopic pregnancy was identified with active bleeding.

Postoperative Outcome

Bleeding controlled successfully. Patient stabilized and shifted to postoperative care in stable condition.
